Ab-Soul to release joint album with JMSN in February

This news came as a bit of a surprise. We knew that Soulo was planning on releasing another full-length album this year, but we were not expecting it to be a collaboration project.  When this news broke, many people were asking who JMSN is.  He is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Detroit who released his debut album in 2012 titled Priscilla.  His vocals, although subtle, were featured on Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe, Art of Peer Pressure, Real, and Sing About Me, Dying of Thirst from Kendrick’s album.  Also, he produced one of our favorite Ab-Soul songs Nibiru (listen below).  JMSN’s emotional production and vocals mixed with Ab-Soul’s intricate lyricism should make for a really interesting album.  Ab-Soul’s last album, Control System, landed in our top 5 albums for 2012 so we are expecting big things from TDE member.
