The popularity of Joey Bada$$ keeps on rising due to the people he is associating himself with. It is obvious that Joey has been inspired by Primo as some of his favorite albums include Gang Starr’s Moment of Truth and Nas’ Illmatic and it is awesome that this 18-year old kid is able to work with such a legendary producer. It was a little over a year ago when I first heard this kid and fell in love with his old-school style. Joey blew up in 2012 and I think 2013 will be an ever more successful year for the Pro Era.
