Dopest Dope: Kendrick Lamar- Art of Peer Pressure


As we patiently wait for good kid, m.A.A.d city to drop on October 22nd, DubCNN leaks this previously unreleased track that could possibly make the album. After listening a few times, I really hope this one makes it. The track is much different than the two previously released album cuts, The Recipe and Swimming Pools. Over some real mellow production, Kendrick tells his story of a near-encounter with the 5-0 and the effects of peer pressure while chilling with your homies. Really cool concept. The choruses remind me of something that would have came from Outkast’s ATLiens. Take a listen below.
